BBC Politics Show West Midlands (12pm on BBC1) will be debating the AV referendum as well as showing reports on the topic- more on Patrick Burns’ (BBC Midlands Political Editor) blog.

Wednesday 19th January @ 6pm

Public Interest debate on the AV referendum hosted by Warwick & Leamington District Council with speakers both for & against AV

debate venue is Leamington Spa Town Hall, The Parade, Leamington Spa, CV32 4AT

Monday 31st January

The University of Birmingham Yes To Fairer Votes Society will be at the “Refreshers Fair”, spreading the Yes to AV message & recruiting new supporters.

Friday 4th February @ 7pm

An evening of debate on Political & Electoral reform, covering May’s referendum & a whole lot more!

Confirmed guest speakers include Jack Dromey MP (Labour, Erdington), Lorely Burt MP (Liberal Democrat, Solihull) & Dominic Fisher (Chairman, Ladywood Conservatives)- more guests & further details to be confirmed shortly.

Lots of other events & activity in February including:

more leafleting & stall days scheduled for the 13th & 26th (details soon), & a big banner photo-opportunity event to kick-off the next stage of the campaign….

…And of course there will be some more meetings, because everyone loves a meeting, right?!
